A Message from Tanya Elliott, Vice President, Ontario, Canadian Red Cross

With great anticipation and excitement, I am inviting you to our next virtual conference - Ontario ConnectsRiding the Wave II!

Our committee has planned this event in response to feedback from our conference held this past spring – we heard from you how important it remains for us all at the Red Cross to stay connected and to recognize the many ways we have helped to build people’s resilience through the pandemic and beyond.

We have also heard from you that you are looking for more, which is why we are preparing another event on October 16th! You can expect more Mission Moments, more prizes, more photos, and more focus on the volunteer-driven programs and responses happening across the province.

This three-hour-long event is being designed to be lean and impactful. The focal point of our conference will be interactive presentations and a panel discussion highlighting how teams across our society have come together as humanitarians to form One Red Cross.

I look forward to meeting with you soon!
